Pamela Anderson was born on July 1, 1967 in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. As the first baby born on Canada's Centennial Day, Pam was born into the spotlight as the nation's "Centennial Baby".

She was subsequently "discovered" in 1989 when she was wearing a Labatt's beer t-shirt at a B.C. Lions football game. During the match, a cameraman was looking for a pretty face to show in the stadium's big-screen and spotted her.
